Tips for Easing Anxiety During Coronavirus

Hi Mommies and friends,

This has been a crazy and unprecedented time. I hope you are all staying safe. I’m here to help ease anxiety and help give you some anxiety easing ideas.

Here are a few things I have found helpful…I have summarized my ideas below and they can also be found in my video update.

  1. Don’t read twitter all day…it will definitely stress you out.

  2. Read and listen to the facts; Mayor Coumo of NYC has taken charge of the tri-state area and has stepped up. His daily briefings are helpful, concise and informative. His brother Chris on CNN has an amazing evening news program at 9:00 PM which is full of helpful information.

  3. Listen to the guidelines and understand that the guidelines have been put in place for a reason - to keep us safe.

  4. Take alone time for yourself. This is a challenge, but talk to your partner about getting YOU time every day. With the entire family home, things can get stressful quickly.

  5. Yoga or a family walk can definitely help ease anxiety.

  6. Take care of each other. Talk to your friends and have zoom calls or virtual happy hours together.

  7. Laugh, watch something funny on TV.
