KidloLand App Review - Still My FAVORTITE KID APP!

Guys!!! This is crazy. I wrote this blog in 2016 and it’s still one of my most looked at blogs. It made me realize how important it is to help other moms to make their lives easier. KidloLand is the best app I have ever continued to subscribe to for the kids. Full disclosure - I received a free subscription to the app in 2106 (for a year) and I have continued to subscribe on my own ever since.

KidloLand actually taught my sons coding! Yes, they added new, wonderful programs for older kids. We are still using KidloLand almost daily, 5 years later. That should tell you something. The platform has improved over time and the pricing is worth it. I have 3 kids ages 3, 7 and 9 who use it and love it. I’ve updated the post with newer photos so you can see more of the platform. For the younger learners, the songs and games are engaging and fun. For the older learners, the coding is challenging and fun.

A few weeks ago, I was asked to try KidloLand, an App for preschoolers.  I was hesitant at first, as we all know that the market is saturated with so many apps for children, but, as I am always looking for amazing products, I decided to give KidloLand a go.

KidloLand is an app which can be found for iOS, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.  It contains more than 800+ nursery rhymes, songs, story books, activities and games!!! I’m not kidding. Your children can navigate through 22 different headings as they learn about months & days, colors & shapes, fruits & veggies, numbers, vehicles, songs and games…to name a few.  It looked fun and entertaining to me, but the real test was the kids.  My two sons, ages 4 and 2 were more than eager to give it a try.

Three weeks later, KidloLand is their app of choice.  My 2 year old knows exactly where it is on my iphone, nestled among the 100s of other apps.  The yellow star makes it easy to find.  He loves listening to all the songs, and I watch as he navigates easily though different sections and subsections.  The Wheels on the Bus Section is his favorite.  Characters wave and smile as songs are sung to the Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round.

My 4 year old asks for KidloLand by name.  He loves the activities and games the most.  His favorite section is the Create & Play Occupations.  There, 60 different occupations come alive while you use your finger to complete puzzle pieces detailing what goes into different occupations.  He loves that the app has so much to offer and that he has so much more left to explore.

Overall, I’m impressed that the app is so creative and thorough.  I like how engaged the kids are and I love that they are learning through songs, books, games and different activities.  We do ensure limited screen time for the kids, but when they are on the ipad or phone, I am comfortable with them using this app, as they are learning, interacting and thinking.

KidloLand is a subscription service and is $4.99/month, $24.99 for six months and $39.99 for 1 year.  Below are the links on how to access the app!
